Sciath na Scol - na buachaillí

After winning this competition in 2005 and 2006 we were very much looking forward to this year again. However we found ourselves in a much tougher group we were not as successful as other years.We started in April and finished in May. The first match was in Kilbrittain against Ballyheada N.S. It was a close game but Ballyheada came out the winning side.

Despite our bad start to the competition we felt confident coming into the match against Ballygarvan N.S. We made a good start to the match. It was a hard game and the result was about fair. We had mixed feelings because we got a point for drawing the match but we felt we should have won.

Our third match was in Ballinhassig against Goggins Hill N.S. We also made a good start to that match but in the end they won well. We were very dissapointed because we know we had the ability to win but did not show it. I am sure next year we will be back!
