Sciath na Scol - na buachaillí

We prepared hard for the Sciath na scoil comptition this year.

We opened our campaign against Cloughduv National School. Our boys played well, giving us a good win on the day.
Score Kilbrittain N.S 5.1 to Cloughduv 1.3

Our next match was against Ballygarvan. We had a good day again and emerged victorious. Our entire panel got a chance to shine during this match.
Score Kilbrittain N.S. 6.6 to Ballygarvan 2.1

After the Easter Break we got back into the swing with a match against Ballinadee coming away with a good win.
Score Kilbrittain N.S 5.3 to Ballinadee 0.0.

Our next game was against Ballyheada and we are happy to report we secured another win .
Score Kilbrittain N.S. 4.11 to Ballyheada 0.0.

Our last match will be next week against Enniskeane and best of luck boys.

The Final !!!!!

The Sciath na Scoil final was held on Thursday 9th June in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. Kilbrittain V Ballyheada. All classes from 2nd class to 6th class travelled to support the team.
It was a close match but our lads came out the winners on a score line of 5-8 to 3-8.
A super game. Great celebrations and excitement by team and supporters. The whole team came back to Kilbrittain to a heroes welcome.
